With extensive experience in the construction of roads and earth works, ALCAT has also handled large contracts which are inclusive of all types of infrastructure (drainage line, water lines, electrical cable lines, etc.) and related road finishes, traffic signs, etc.

Road Construction

In the past few years, Qatar has experienced a tremendous expansion in it's infrastructure. ALCAT is proud to have had the opportunity to successfully build several landmark roads, bridges and highway projects with the highest quality and to be a part of Qatar’s 2030 vision. ALCAT owns two asphalt plants located in the heart of Industrial Area with a gross production capacity of 400 tons per hour with a dedicated asphalt laying crew and the latest equipment which includes asphalt paving machines, steel roller, asphalt milling machine, bobcat, tipper trucks, etc. ALCAT also features a testing laboratory for daily testing of the asphalt produced, to ensure it is up to a high quality..

Infrastructure and Transportation projects are often constructed within complex urban environments which require work to be phased around existing operation. The ALCAT crew execute every project with a priority to quality, safety and time schedule, to guarantee it's quality remains consistent and controlled, it's job site safety protocols ensure protection for its staff and everyone around the construction sites.

ALCAT owns a fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment capable of handling large scale earth work projects, backed with it's own workshop for the complete maintenance of it's vehicles. ALCAT features its own fleet of crushers and mobile screeners to supply the raw material required for any projects undertaken.

ALCAT offers it's earthworks expertise as a standalone service or as a part of an integrated project solutions.

ALCAT Asphalt Unit is one of the most advanced asphalt plants incorporating environmental and technological benefits to increase production capacity, sustainability and efficiency capability to produce various types of asphalt mixes, such as All Bitumen 60/70 Mixes, All Bitumen PMB Mixes, All CRMB Mixes, RAP Mixes, Prime Coat / MC70, and Tack Coat / CSS1H with a production capacity of 400 tons per hour.
