ALCAT Contracting Company is a Subsidiary of ZAD Holding Company incorporated in the year 1956. ALCAT is one of the leading groups in the construction industry and has expertise in specialized construction fields such as roads and infrastructure projects.

ALCAT today considered to be one of the best in the region, is largely due to the determination and hard work that has earned a reputation that is hard to match since it was established in 1956.

ALCAT has been certified with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System; BS OHSAS 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System; and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System. We are determined to maintain the system.

ALCAT's achievements were mainly by effective management through a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated engineers along with a panel of professional staff in all fields from every corner of the world, who put in constant effort to provide maximum services to valued clients. ALCAT attaches a great deal of importance to its people and major reasons for our success can safely be attributed to the workforce of proficient and experienced people.

Currently ALCAT is focused mainly on Roads & Infrastructure work, with a growing list of clients that includes Ashghal, Qatar Airways, Q-Rail, Qatar Armed Forces, Lusail Real Estate Development Company, and many more.

ALCAT is approved by ASHGHAL as Main Contractor for:

  1. Framework Construction Contract for Local Roads & Drainage Program (LRDP) under the following category:
    • Group 1 (0 – 200 million Qatar Riyals)
    • Group 2 (200 – 900 million Qatar Riyals)
    • Group 3 (Over 900 million Qatar Riyals)
  2. Zonal Framework Contract for Road Maintenance Qatar
  3. Installer for Traffic Signage for use in Ashghal Road Projects

ALCAT Contracting Company is a subsidiary of ZAD Holding Company Q.P.S.C, which is listed in the Qatar Stock Exchange, incorporated in the year 1956.  ALCAT is one of leading groups in the construction sector and has expertise in specialized construction fields such as Building, Roads and Infrastructure projects.

ALCAT was engaged, from the very inception, in execution of large size building, roads and infrastructure construction projects.  The Company has played a major role in the development of State of Qatar by executing turn-key projects of national importance to the utmost satisfaction of its clients.

In the past few years, we were selected by Ashghal Asset Maintenance for the road maintenance works and since then we continue to execute several projects.

With our sizeable pool of construction equipment and capable personnel, we have been able to complete our contracts in accordance with the specification and standards. In the Qatari construction market, we are pursuing clearly defined development strategies, completing each project to budget in terms of quality, schedules and costs.  This can only be achieved through an effective well-orchestrated team effort and a solid organization of skilled individuals who are strongly motivated to achieve the company’s objectives.
